Hi, it's me, Petar. ☺ I think that the two girls wanted to play with each other. ☻ They did not care wether they were white or African American. ☻ However, their parents did care. :( They hated each other. :( But Clover's mother let her play with Annie. ☻ I think that the fence symbolizes segregation and their hate for one another. : I hope that that fence has been knocked down (if it is a real story).
