What is the great power in life. and they was so excited and was smiling they having fun and the were happy.
What I think about the book is that it's very exciting . The thing that impresses most is the parade. Because the parade shows the culture, like with all the signes, especially the Chinese signs. The one on the front of the book, and on every page--the cirlce. Maybe it is probly the circel of their life.

But Sing is a deep thinker. I have no idea how she came up with life being the greatest power, but I think she truly is wise.

i agree with zing or whatever her name is because... the greats power is life. i feel she has the right feel!! and what is up with that pig empier!?!?!?!? but the thing that in spierd my was how she came up with it so slow and how she really took the time to think about it. and how the other kids came up with it so fast and diden't really think about it so they made wierd suggestions on the grastest power in the wold. lol, she is so right! and did you know that on the cover of the book, the deragons or sappost to be bats?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

A greatest power

It's a little strange story.I have some questions about it.
1.Why did Guan Yu appear as a money god in this book?
2.Why was every character a kid?
3.How did Sing think about what the greatest power is?

but its illustrations are cute and delicate.Everything in this book is lovely.Children are so imaginative that they can come up with so many ideas.I love the pratical one .They made many huge golden coins and a statue of Guan yu though I didn't think that Guan Yu is related with money,but he really had a red face in the China's history.

This book is really good.It bring us to think about why we are here and the meaning of oneself.The people around you are the most important .In the story,the boy's friends,turtle and pandas are the most important; in the world,our friends,family,....even everyone are the most important because they are around us and we interact in our life.

Its illustrations are quite nice.And it let us think more about our life with a simple story.What a wonderful book!

I was surprised to find out that the little boy's friends were animals with special names. That was funny. About the drawing, except the monkey, Gogol, the other illustration was beautiful.(The monkey looked like an old man with white shinning hair. ha ha~ And the turtle was adorale:) )I think that the boy was very brave. He went out when the rain was pouring and the wind was roaring to save the little panda.

About the 1st questions:When is the best time to do things ?I agree with the ole turtle:NOW! But about the 2nd question, I can't truely agree with him. I think the most imporant one is the one who teaches you.What is the right thing to do? Just follow your conscience!

A good time in my life and the best time to do it is when I was ten and in the woods. It was summer but it was about to be really really cold. And so my friends and I decided to go there before the cold hit. And when we went there we almost got lost. And we had to scream a lot but then my friend found a lake. So we followed the shining lake. Then we followed the lake and it had a long way around. But since it was so fun (because we finally got time together. We basically never got time together), we just took a long way around.

I was kind of like shivering. It was starting to get cold. And since my friend and his family own the woods, we were experts of the woods and the trails all that. We started heading over there toward the lake. And while we were heading over there, we ran into a big pile of thorns. We went to the big patch of throns and it was really long down. We had to find a way to get around. I was shiverinig again. They led me to a safe place--it was deep in the woods. I was cut by a thorn. But it was easy to get out. And we saw the opening and the way out. I did not feel worried as soon as we got out into the light. When we got out and we went into the house, and their mom made us hot chocolate since we started to get cold. One of my friends made chocolate covered pretzels. And their mom let us have a whole bunch of them.

This was one of the fun times of my life - spending time with my friends and walking in the woods with no parents around!

one time i was at the pool, and i saved my cousin Reed form drowning. she was the most inportant one at that moment. Hi, it's me, Petar. I think that it is important that Nikolai helped Leo dig because he would not have heard the panda's cry for help, and they may have died. And, the answer to the first question was to do good to others, and he did help Leo. I still do not understand why the most important one is the one you are with, and the most important time is now.

I did not pay very much attention to the pictures. I noticed that there is a red kite in most of the picture. I do not know what it means.

now lets talk about that panda resque... i think it was so good that he herd that panda. if he didien't she proboly would have died. and if he did not the baby panda would have died. that tertul is so cool, and wies!!!! in a pic of the book he looked like a lepered. and the 2 pandas looked like a gerafi. i think it would be so cool if animals could really talk!!!
