1. i think clover's mom is nice because when she saw her and Annie on the fence she did not freake. most people would if the black's and white's were sperated. But she didn't, so she seemed nice to me.
2. i think that Annie's mom in the story is stuck up and really don't care about anything but her, and her daughter. when clover's mom said "not to stare" i think she was stareing at them to!!!
3. i think that Annie is more adventurest than Clover because she will go out in the rain even if her mom says no. the reason i said that last part is because when she was on the fence she said that her mom said that she could not "CROSS the fence. she diden't say anything about sitting on it." (exact words) and Clover said "my mom diden't say that ether" (exact words)

true but back then EVERYONE cared about black's and white's. and some people still do like when someone says i don't like you because you have black skin!!! what about that!!!?!?!?!?
