it's allycat again

A good time in my life and the best time to do it is when I was ten and in the woods. It was summer but it was about to be really really cold. And so my friends and I decided to go there before the cold hit. And when we went there we almost got lost. And we had to scream a lot but then my friend found a lake. So we followed the shining lake. Then we followed the lake and it had a long way around. But since it was so fun (because we finally got time together. We basically never got time together), we just took a long way around.

I was kind of like shivering. It was starting to get cold. And since my friend and his family own the woods, we were experts of the woods and the trails all that. We started heading over there toward the lake. And while we were heading over there, we ran into a big pile of thorns. We went to the big patch of throns and it was really long down. We had to find a way to get around. I was shiverinig again. They led me to a safe place--it was deep in the woods. I was cut by a thorn. But it was easy to get out. And we saw the opening and the way out. I did not feel worried as soon as we got out into the light. When we got out and we went into the house, and their mom made us hot chocolate since we started to get cold. One of my friends made chocolate covered pretzels. And their mom let us have a whole bunch of them.

This was one of the fun times of my life - spending time with my friends and walking in the woods with no parents around!
