Even Though Ian's parents had split, and moved to city with his mother, he could still be happy with his new neighbor, Mr. Mah. They told their stories to each other, soon, they became best friends.
I love the part of the end, it's touched. Fortuately, Ian found Mr. Mah's memory box which had valuable memories in the second-hand store. If not, Mr. Mah could have felt depressed, i think.

I agree because they are realy good friends but they didin't know eachother at frist but they became the best of friends. Like I don't know u and we can be the best of friends((by makira))☺
